작년에 이어 두 번째로 열리는 이번 뜻깊은 축제를 계명대학교에서 개최할 수 있게 되어 큰 기쁨과 감사의 마음을 전합니다.
아낌없는 지원을 해 주시는 대구광역시 김정기 시장 권한대행님께 깊이 감사드리며, 대회 개최를 승인해 주신 세계태권도연맹 조정원 총재님과 국제대학스포츠연맹 Leonz Eder 회장님께 존경과 감사를 드립니다.

오늘날 우리 인류는 다양한 이념과 이해의 충돌, 갈등으로 인해 많은 도전에 직면해 있으며, 세계 곳곳에서는 여전히 고통과 불안이 계속되고 있습니다. 하지만 그 속에서도 우리는 새로운 희망을 발견합니다. 그 희망은 다름 아닌, 열정과 가능성으로 가득 찬 세계 대학 태권도인들 안에 살아 숨 쉬고 있습니다.

Greetings to the World Taekwondo Community

Dear members of the global university Taekwondo community,

It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt welcome to all of you gathering here as one united family through Taekwondo. I am deeply honored and grateful that Keimyung University has once again been given the privilege of hosting this meaningful festival.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Acting Mayor Kim Jeong-gi of Daegu Metropolitan City for his unwavering support. I also convey my deepest respect and gratitude to President Choue Chungwon of World Taekwondo and President Leonz Eder of the International University Sports Federation for their endorsement of this event.

Taekwondo is more than a sport; it is a profound spiritual legacy that transcends language and culture. Witnessing young practitioners from diverse backgrounds come together to uphold common values and strive toward a collective future stands as a powerful symbol of the peaceful and harmonious world we all aspire to build.

The World University Taekwondo Festival is not merely a competition; it is a cherished celebration of friendship, understanding, solidarity, and mutual respect.
